International collaboration for the sustainable renovation of the fund built in Europe. RoGBC 10-Point Statement for the Romanian authorities

THE ROMANIAN COUNCIL FOR GREEN BUILDINGS ORGANIZED THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE "EXCHANGE ROMANIA WITH BUILD UPON! WHERE IT WILL PRESENT THE CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ROMANIA'S NATIONAL RENEWAL STRATEGY.

I covered over 4000 kilometers, I organized 10 public consultation sessions in Cluj, Iași, Galați, Brașov, Craiova, Timișoara and Bucharest where I discussed with over 400 people of all ages, social and professional categories in the creation of Co-creation and supporting the implementation of the National Renewal Strategy of Romania. The objective of these consultation sessions was to facilitate the dialogue between all stakeholders and make them responsible in order to transform Romania's built fund, both public and private, into an energy efficient one and sustainability.
Background: We spend almost 80% of our time in buildings, whether we are at work, at home, shopping or public institutions, the safety and health of buildings having a very big impact on the population. Romania, as a member of the United Nations and the European Union, must make efforts to limit global warming to 2 ° C by the end of the century, in accordance with the agreement at COP21, Paris. Buildings are responsible for 40% of energy consumption and 36% of CO2 emissions in Europe.
Participants: Representatives of the government, local government, companies and financial institutions, non-governmental organizations, students, teachers and researchers, tenants and tenants' associations, as well as media representatives will participate in the event.
Location: Gabroveni Inn, built in 1856, became the Cultural Center of Bucharest ARCUB in 1996, being a public cultural service under the authority of the General Council of Bucharest. ARCUB is the only institution of this kind in Romania that has the role of bridge between the local authority and the civil society, the cultural projects that it realizes having an important socio-educational component.
